Myles Rowe has the opportunity to achieve something that hasn’t been done since Kyle Kirkwood in 2019 in the USF Pro 2000 series. This upcoming Friday, in the first of two races at the road course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Rowe has the chance to win four races in a row.

Rowe, who finished as the runner-up in the 2022 USF 2000, has stood on the podium in every race so far this year. He bounced back from a third-place finish in the first race of the season and has not finished anywhere but on the top step since then. Rowe has built up a substantial lead of 42 points in the standings heading into the weekend, and he has shown similar pace to last year in USF 2000 when he won two of the first four races. He is expected to be the driver to watch in Indianapolis this weekend and has had the upper hand over his opponents so far.

The issues that prevented Kiko Porto from participating in the first race in Sebring did not disrupt his form in the second race, where he landed on the podium. Porto has led the way for DEForce Racing in 2023 and has been inching closer and closer to winning his first race in 2023. After finishing the 2022 season strongly, which included a win in the second race at Mid-Ohio, Porto has picked up right where he left off, sitting tied for second in the standings.

Joining him in that tie for second is Francesco Pizzi, who has been consistent with top-10 finishes in each of the four races so far this year, with one podium at Sebring in race 1. His teammate, Lirim Zendeli, also landed on the podium when he finished in second position in race 2.

Here are some other drivers to watch out for in Indianapolis:

  • Jace Denmark was one of the quickest drivers in the opening round of the championship at St. Petersburg, finishing fifth and third in the first weekend of the season. He was also on pole in the first race at Sebring.
  • Reese Ushijima has been floating in the top eight in three of the four races so far this year, showing consistency in the early stages of his first season back in America. He is someone who could be on for a breakout weekend.
  • Joel Granfors finished on the podium in the first race at Sebring and has been consistent throughout the first part of the season with top-10 finishes in each race.
  • Finally, Charles Finelli will be making his season debut, driving for FatBoy! Racing.
