Jay Howard Driver Development’s Liam McNeilly was the fastest car on track during the USF Juniors race at Mid-Ohio on Friday morning.

Throughout the 20 minutes, McNeilly kept a constant pace ahead of his competitors as he finished the session with a 1:25.90, finishing a tenth ahead of the rest of the field.

Following McNeilly in the standings were International Motorsport teammates Ariel Elkin and Augusto Soto-Schirripa. Sebastian Wheldon and Bruno Ribeiro rounded out the top five.

McNeilly will start on pole for the first race of the USF Juniors weekend at Mid-Ohio, slated for Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. local time.
