Myles Rowe had a grand opening to his tenure with ABEL Motorsports when he set the fastest time of the 2024 Chris Griffis Memorial Test on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on Friday afternoon.
Rowe’s 1:15.1848 was enough to hold off Andretti’s Dennis Hauger, who in his official test in the United States sat in the second half of the field for a majority of the session before setting down a fast lap of 1:15.3285 with around fifteen minutes remaining. Fellow Andretti driver Lochie Hughes finished behind them with a 1:15.3736.
Rowe’s fellow series sophomore and teammate Callum Hedge finished behind them with a 1:15.443 and HMD’s Liam Sceats rounded out the top five with a 1:15.5162.
