The winner of the 2025 Formula Regional Americas Championship will walk away with $100,000 if they can take home the title in the series in 2024, a considerable increase from $25,000 in 2024.

Additionally, the champions of the two support series of FR Americas, the Formula 4 United States Championship and the entry-level Ligier JS F4 Series, will receive partial scholarships that will a majority of the costs to compete at the next level.

“Most importantly, the prize fund continues to increase the depth of our ladder system, allowing drivers to move from karting to cars and use our scholarship prizes to take the next step in their racing career,” Scott Goodyear, the race director for all three series, said in a press release.

Additionally, the prize package for FR Americas will include $60,000 for the second through fifth place finishers as well as the series’ highest-finishing rookie. The total prize package for F4 US and Ligier JS F4 are higher than the series above and are valued at $295,280 and $197,680 respectively.

This package marks a continuation of an existing scholarship at both the F4 US and JS F4 levels. Formula Regional Americas has historically had a much greater prize package than before and previously offered a guaranteed drive in the Super Formula series based in Japan through 2023.

Despite significantly declining in 2024, it will begin to rebound in 2025.

The first race weekend of the 2025 season for all three series will begin on March 27th at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, Louisiana.
