Jay Howard Driver Development’s Liam McNeilly held the lead from start to finish in a caution-free race to grab a sweep of the USF2000 weekend on the Streets of St. Petersburg on Saturday afternoon.

McNeilly defended from a hard-charging Jack Jeffers and Caleb Garfarar on the opening start but held firm to keep the lead. Jeffers and Gafrarar would grab the remaining podium spots for Exclusive Autosport and Pabst Racing respectively.

McNeilly’s win will give him a commanding points lead heading into April when the series takes on NOLA Motorsports Park. Max Garcia, the reigning champion of USF2000, also swept the first two races in St. Pete during his 2024 title campaign.

Finishing behind McNeilly and rounding out the top five was DEForce Racing’s Sebastian Garzon and JHDD’s Brad Majman. The result marked the first top-five in both driver’s USF2000 careers.
