If Andretti’s Dennis Hauger wasn’t already impressive enough in Indy NXT in 2025, the Norwegian drove for the first time in his life on an oval today and proceeded to go fastest in a session where him and his teammates dominated today at Nashville Superspeedway.

On the 1.33-mile oval, the longest oval track the series competes at, Hauger set a fastest time of 25.5273 to put himself less than one hundredth of a second quicker than ABEL Motorsports’ Myles Rowe at the top of the leaderboard.

Andretti’s performance during the test wasn’t just strong, it was outright dominant. Their four cars all finished in the top six. Lochie Hughes ran just over a tenth behind Hauger in P3, while Salvador de Alba finished just behind.

HMD Motorsports and Chip Ganassi Racing managed to put cars near the front as well, with Bryce Aron landing in fifth position with a 25.7433 and Jonathan Browne finishing P7 with a 25.8000.
