Ariel Elkin won his third race in the Month of May by taking the Freedom 90 crown at Indianapolis Raceway Park, completing the rare feat of winning his first ever oval race and becoming the first USF Pro 2000 driver since Christian Rasmussen in 2021 to win three races in May.

Elkin took the win by making a first-lap pass on Exclusive Autosport’s Mac Clark, who started the race on pole position. Clark took pole in his first season for Exclusive, the team which has won the Freedom 90 every year since 2022.

Elkin took the lead off of the race’s start and help it the rest of the way, leading every lap but one. Behind him, Alessandro de Tullio got second as Clark also secured a podium.

The lone caution was on a lap 51 incident where Exclusive Autosport’s Joey Brienza got tangled in the turn 3 wall.

With this win, Elkin becomes the first TJ Speed Motorsports driver ever to win three of the four May races in Indianapolis. He moves to second in the standings. He also becomes the first Israeli driver to win the Freedom 90.
